Review: The coaches are absolutely wonderful here. They are firm but fun and respectful. My son has always had issues with minding rules but loves structured classes. This gym has the perfect balance of that. They even get the parents involved. My husband and I thoroughly enjoy watching the classes and having conversations with the other parents. I would recommend going to DMMA over any other place. The owner Coach Chris is very open, approachable and communicative about everything. He has also made it very affordable for classes. There aren’t enough positive things to say about this gym. We will continue to attend here for as long as we can.

Review: This is a great place to train, whether you live in the Dayton area or are just visiting. Chris is a fantastic coach and his classes are welcoming, respectful and fun. I enjoyed his style of teaching and wished I could have stayed longer!

Review: I was in Dayton for a week on business. I stopped in here for a no-gi class and the advance class. This place is great! The coaches are very knowledgeable and the students were very welcoming. The community here was strong and I could tell that was very important to Coach Chris. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town.

Review: I had no previous experience in wrestling or BJJ and have been going to this Academy for almost 5 months now, and cannot say enough great things about it. The classes and structure is well executed and fitting for relatively anyone. The culture and environment built and upheld here by Coach Chris is second to none. The camaraderie and fellowship is also amazing.It’s a really good feeling when you walk into a room of skilled professionals, aka trained killers 🙂 in BJJ and they welcome you with zero experience alongside them. I have been able to learn at my own pace and continue to do so. Coach Chris offers routine feedback and is clear in his expectations of each student. I would HIGHLY recommend Dayton MMA to Anyone at any age and any skill level. 5 of 5 stars without a doubt! Il

Review: Fantastic culture and atmosphere. Professor Chris and the entire crew at Dayton were extremely accommodating and friendly during my visit here. High quality jiu jitsu and an even greater group of individuals to meet.
