Master Kim is very professional and she loves children real heart

Review: I can confidently recommend Virginia's top martial arts teacher. This isn't just a class to pass the time, but a formal Taekwondo class taught in the same way as it is in Korea. If you come and see for yourself, you'll be able to compare the difference at a glance. For those seeking a female master or a Taekwondo school where the head instructor personally teaches, I recommend KTA.

Review: Let me start off by saying that Master Min teaches actual taekwondo. I used to learn taekwondo at a different location when I was younger and let me tell you, Master Min is the best instructor I have ever had. Currently I am a part of her evening Women's exercise program instead of her taekwondo program due to my busy schedule as a student attending university.Another thing, if you have any children, I highly recommend the after school program. The kids participate in taekwondo right after school and then have homework and snack time. Snack can be brought from home but, snack is also provided by the academy.Another factor about the after school program is that the staff help each and every one of the students with any homework they may have, whether it be from school, tutor/academy, or home. If the students do not have homework, english and math worksheets are provided to the students.For parents who are running late, don't worry! Student pick-up time is by 6:30PM. Yes, 6:30PM!!! AMAZING!!!!Master Min and the staff are very attentive to all the students and are very kind and helpful to everyone at the facility.KTA also provides Summer, Winter, and Spring Break Camps which all include field trips and activities that engage children in physical activity, arts and crafts, and more.For working parents, KTA also provides Day Camp on days which school is closed, whether it be due to inclement weather, teacher workdays, or other government holidays.If you are looking for a taekwondo academy that actually teaches taekwondo to the students instead of just letting them run around and no learn anything, send them to Kim Min Kyung Taekwondo Academy (KTA), the best taekwondo academy in the area, you won't regret it!

Review: We’ve been sending our 1st grade daughter to Kim Min Kyung Taekwondo (KTA) academy since last fall. It has been one of the best decisions that we’ve made for our daughter. They pick up kids when they are dismissed from school and provide tae kwon do classes afterwards. Master Min and staff also help kids to finish their homework if there is any. If kids have no homework, they will provide grade appropriate writings or math worksheets. What they charge us for the lessons and services provided is very reasonable. I started taking tae kwon do classes for myself here. Master Min’s tae kwon do is legitimate. It also is a great workout that involves cardio and strength training. I definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
